December is a good month to take some time and reflect on the past year. Before moving into 2013, Rick Hendrick BMW Charleston would like to put into perspective all of the events and highlights our beloved automaker, BMW has accomplished over the past 12 months. It provides an opportunity to see the direction the company might take in 2013.
Overall, 2012 was obvious for new BMW models (i.e., the BMW 3 Series, BMW ActiveHybrid 3, BMW ActiveHybrid 5, elegant 6 Series Gran Coupe, BMW M5, BMW M6 Coupe, BMW M6 Convertible and BMW X1 SAV), highly charged races, new associations, awards and birthdays.
BMW introduce some exciting newness to existing 2012 models, in the way of updates to the X6 and 7 Series.
Highlighting the automaker's athletic design and performance, BMW was the Official Mobility Partner during the London Olympics and sponsored four U.S. teams. This helped build valuable partnerships and relationships.
What did BMW celebrate in 2012 in terms of performance? Forty years of the M. Anyone familiar with the horsepower and torque that comes with the M name likely joined in the birthday tune of that one.
On top of it all, BMW lead the Dow Sustainability Index - yet again. That makes eight years and counting.
What will 2013 bring for BMW?
We don't want to ruin the surprise; but we do invite you to stay tuned. Rick Hendrick BMW Charleston will be bringing you details along the way.
