Should the auto come to fruition, it would likely hold a 4.4-liter V8 TwinTurbo engine with power output around 450 horsepower.

Moving along to the other end of the scale, BMW is thought to also have a base-level 728i on the docket. This model would make use of the automaker's N20B20 turbocharged 2.0-liter that works in tandem with an electric motor.
