With its increase in sales, BMW saw a total of 37,399 vehicles sold last month. This was due in part to a 75 percent increase of BMW 5 Series models. In the United Sates BMW sold 281,460 vehicles, a 14 percent increase overall. With models like the BMW 528i sedan or the BMW 535i sedan in its new BMW inventory, we can't say we are too surprised.
What other models contributed to the sales surge? The BMW X3 sport-utility vehicles definitely deserves some recognition. This series saw a 46 percent jump, raising overall sales by 27 percent. Now we can see why our favorite luxury automaker rose to the top of the sales leaderboard for the second year in a row.
