When to Service Your BMW EV In Charleston?

As you may remember, we recently mentioned the BMW high-performance M Division right here on our blog. BMW is now bringing us even more exciting additions, this time in the form of a handy integrated car app. Being released this summer exclusively for the Apple iPhone, the M Power App will bring performance tracking to a whole new level.

The sole purpose of the app, is to give drivers a way to monitor all aspects of their vehicle's performance either on the street or on a race track. During the release of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, the automaker provided demonstrations as to how this new app functioned.

By recording data from in-car sensors that act as communication tools, drivers can see how the vehicle performed on a certain course or route. In addition to showing acceleration and braking patterns, the app display also shows a detailed line graph with g-force, engine speed, mileage, throttle input, lap times, steering angles and other data.

Drivers can then take all of the information captured and share it with others either as an instruction tool or simply for bragging rights. As far as accessibility goes, the BMW M Power App is available to new BMW models that come equipped with the BMW Apps option. The driver's iPhone must also be tethered to the car for the app to work properly.
