My Life as a BMW M-Certified Client Advisor....

In May 1972, BMW M was born. It was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program.  As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with modified higher trim models. These M-badge cars included modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications that set them apart from their counterparts.

I personally had the opportunity to travel to the "Circuit of The Americas" track in Austin, Texas, and become "M-Certified" as a BMW Client Advisor. This is an amazing course in which BMW M Division Instructors break down what all makes driving an "M" so unique.  They began with history of the brand and where it has come to, with the release of the all new M6 Gran Coupe (in July). They then spent time with us on the mechanical components inside the M-Vehicles (engine, suspension, brakes, etc), which are what separate a "M" from the rest on the road. Next they went into options and interior modifications available.  I learned with the help of the BMW employees at "BMW Individual" almost anything is possible.
