So how does the magic work?
BMW run-flat tires feature a specially-designed interior that essentially acts as its own temporary-replacement tire (commonly known as a "donut") when the tire loses pressure. Should you get a flat, these clever tires can give you some wiggle room to get to where you need to go. In fact, you can travel over 90 miles at speeds of up to 50 mph so you don't have to change a tire on a dangerous highway, or at night.
