2019 BMW X7 in Charleston, SC

BMW's All-New 2019 X7 is the Largest Sports Activity Vehicle Yet

The all-new and first-ever 2019 BMW X7 is big news in more than one way: because it's always exciting to experience a new BMW model, but also because this is the largest Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) that's ever been built. Everything about it, from its supersized grille to massive wheels, delivers a visual and physical presence that's unlike anything we've seen before. There are two trim levels available for the 2019 model year: X7 xDrive40i and X7 xDrive50i.

The new 2019 BMW X7 features a 2-3-2 configuration standard, with a middle bench seat and two rear seats. Power-adjustable captain's chairs are available for the middle row for Charleston drivers who prioritize individual comfort over maximum seating. A standard three-panel panoramic glass roof can support BMW's innovative and state-of-the-art Sky Lounge LED roof.

Exterior Styling and Features

Why all the excitement over the new BMW X7? For the first time, BMW will have a true in-class competitor to models like the Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Lincoln Navigator, and Volvo XC90 who have been dominating the three-row luxury segment for years. The BMW X7 will step out as the most luxurious--and most spacious--crossover in the entire lineup.

BMW X7 Engines

We know that the new 2019 BMW X7 will come with two familiar powertrain options: a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine. The former will offer 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque for the base xDrive40i model, while the latter will boast 456 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque for the upper-level xDrive50i model.

Safety and Technology

Standard safety and driver-assistance features in the new 2019 BMW X7 include Active Blind Spot Detection, Active Protection, and Active Driving Assistant Professional, among others. This is a family SAV that's built for the active family who prefers the finer things in life. Technology features include BMW iDrive infotainment with smartphone integration, Bluetooth streaming, advanced navigation and apps, and more.
