It seems as if everyone these days is either going electric or has expressed interest in environmentally friendly alternatives to the common drive. The Los Angeles Police Department is among one of the latest in the news to go electric. In fact, BMW of North America recently announced in a press release that it will supply the LAPD with 100 BMW i3 vehicles.
BMW is doing very interesting work on hybrid vehicles, as evidenced by the 2016 BMW i3, an electric subcompact that has a gas engine available as an optional add-on.
